Our History

Griffiths Pharmacy has served the Charters Towers community and surrounding areas for four generations, equalling over 130 years of continuous healthcare service.

Established by the Griffiths family in 1886, current owner David Griffiths has been a part of Charters Towers for over 60 years. Having owned the pharmacy since 1991, Dave knows this community inside and out. We're proud to support a number of community organisations and events within Charters Towers and the surrounding areas - read more about the connections on our website.

We've moved around a few different premises since opening as the business has grown and changed over the years. Griffiths Pharmacy has been located in Gill Street since the 1970s, and we're currently undergoing one of our most exciting changes to date - a brand new pharmacy, designed to better meet the health and wellbeing needs of Charters Towers.

We offer a wide range of professional services and healthcare products to help keep our local families well all year round.
